Blackbeard's Tea
Concept
We wanted to make a tea box that would stand out from the others on the shelves. We found out that our client was a big fan of pirates and pirate movies so we wanted to incorporate that into our design. The idea of a treasure chest was what we went with because it is a design that stands out and catches the eye of someone browsing for tea. The V Closure box is what we chose because it had the most resemblance to a chest. We put the lock on the flap to line up with the design. For our tag, a skull and crossbones was chosen for being a recognizable symbol for pirates. The client wanted to start with Darjeeling black tea and expand later with multiple different teas.
